European Parliament in Brussels (BE)

The Europa building in Brussels reflects the concept of sustainable development in both the choice of materials and the technologies used. It consists of huge glass sections that provide pleasant light. But at the same time, those windows cause a rise in temperature on hot days. High energy consumption was inevitable. Thanks to our window films, this was drastically reduced. We helped the European Parliament reduce their carbon footprint by 30% in 2020.

Also the buildings of the European Commission, DG Environment were completely fitted with Umisol window films (former Luxa Solar). See https://www.24-7pressrelease.com/press-release/215184/the-european-commission-moves-to-a-low-carbon-economy-using-insulating-luxasolar-window-films
