Rabobank Eindhoven opted to apply Umisol^® IR filters on the existing glazing. The Umisol® IR filter with low emissivity protects against the sun and behaves exactly like extra-insulating glass with solar control. On the one hand, it keeps the solar heat (near infrared) out . On the other hand, the heat from the central heating (far infrared) circulates through the closed space and is reflected back in room when it hits the window. The film can be applied to any glass type, single, double, high-efficiency and HR ++ glazing since it has virtually no heat absorption. The infrared filter is glued to the windows from the inside and operates as a natural air conditioning system.
